Sunkye Single Row Nano-D connectors, at 0.635mm pitch, are some of the tiniest ruggedized connectors on the market today. Compared to larger Micro-D and D-Subminiature configurations, Sunkye has reduced size and weight by as much as 0.50gram each min., 1/4 that of standard Micro-D connectors and 1/10 that of previous D-Sub connectors.

Sunkye Single Row Nano D Connectors feature Twist Pin contacts providing performance advantages over stamped-and-formed contacts. The breakaway and threaded connectors are available in 7 shell size/contact arrangements with 9 to 51 contacts. Available with wire type options including extruded PTFE insulation with silver coated copper, and modified ETFE insulation with high strength silver coated copper.
These benefits include a gas-tight crimp joint and corrosion-proof alloy construction for superior reliability over long-term environmental exposure while the multi-point contact design provides inherently better shock and vibration performance benefits. Connector shell mounting methods available include front panel mount, rear panel mount, and inline for plugs and receptacles. Nano accessory options include a connector with or without a backshell and/or optional pre-installed over-molded backshell. Applications include down-hole electronics, missile systems, launch vehicles, and satellites.
