Discover more applications using Sunkye Connectors' solutions
Night vision devices are designed to monitor objects in low light conditions, at night or in the presence of smoke, fog, at dusk. Accordingly, the scope of night vision devices is observation. In the army, police, or special services, the main goal is the hidden surveillance of the target and the defeat of other targets. Night vision devices can cope with this.

The night vision device uses the photocathode for photoelectric conversion, an optoelectronic device, allowing visualization of images in low levels of light, and improving the user's night vision. The device enhances ambient visible light and converts near-infrared light into visible light which can be seen by the user.
Now night vision technology combines image intensification with thermal imaging, combining the strengths of traditional, which is excellent for navigation and discernment of fine details, with the strengths of thermal imaging, which excels in spotting the heat signatures of targets.
Nano rectangular connectors’ designs fit military applications. Base components should be pin and socket components used in military standards and tested for rugged reliability and repeated use. For example, pins and sockets taken fromMIL-DTL-32139, including MIL-standard connector body shape, size, as well as intermatability, if required. Increasingly, military-tested or rugged-tested custom connectors are used, installed into small night vision systems, and considered rugged.
Connectors are the most important parts of a night vision device, Sunkye is experienced in interconnectivity solutions. Sunkye’s Nano D connectors R06 series, which meet MIL-DTL-32139, with smaller size, and lighter weight, can get the information of the monitored target well
